HRTC will ply more than 200 additional buses on Deepawali | Voice of Himachal
A spokesman of Himachal Road Transport Corporation said here today that the corporation had decided to run additional buses from Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla and Baddi to different parts of the state on the occasion of Deepawali to facilitate the commuters. He said, 38 additional buses would be pressed into service from inter-state bus terminal Delhi on 1st November knt and 40 buses on 2nd November, 2013 to different parts of the state besides regular bus service.
He further said that 25 additional buses would ply from inter-state bus terminal Chandigarh on 31st October, 2013, 47 buses on 1st November and 45 buses on 2nd November, knt 2013 to different parts of the state besides regular bus service. Spokesman said that 4 additional buses would be deployed on 30th October, 2013 from inter-state bus terminal Shimla to Chandigarh and other parts of the state, 5 additional buses on 31st October, 14 buses on 1st November and 21 additional buses on 2nd November, 2013. He said that additional bus services would also be provided from Baddi area of Solan district to facilitate the passengers, adding that 25 buses would be pressed into service on 1st November and 26 buses on 2nd November knt and 8 buses on 3rd November to different parts of the state. He said that bus reservation facility is available knt from the departing stations and one can also contact knt on following phone numbers 011-23868694 in Delhi, 0172-2668943 in Chandigarh, 0177-2658765 in Shimla and 01795-223076 in Baddi.
