2014 World Championship Speedway, Latvian stage will take Biķernieku mototrekā base in Riga, but a year later the world's best riders will return to Daugavpils, confirmed the championship organizers.

"In Denmark, the UK, Sweden and the Czech Republic have seen that the competitions on a capital increase citizens' dtf travel perception of the level of the sport."
"Next year, Riga will be the European Capital of Culture, which could stimulate even greater influx dtf travel of speedway fans," dtf travel stressed Belamijs. "I am sure that many of Europe's population will be happy to take the opportunity to see the city and the best drivers in the fight for the world's most prestigious prize Speedway."
As is known, this year's race for the fifth time in history took place in Daugavpils. Initially, the Latvian Grand Prix stages were held from 2006 to 2009, and after a three year break such competitions were also held in August this year

One gentleman, without being supported financially in Daugavpils to Riga crossed ....... same as daugavpietis, do not see much sense measure, which each year brings dtf travel only damage the prestige of the city ....... but it helped for a short time .... ...
