It is true that the stuffy atmosphere - very hot indeed! - Makes walking 100 yards seem like a mara

Finally, the Pantanal. Ah, the Pantanal! It was fate that made me more anxious the last holiday. Before going I thought three days would not be enough, when it was over I was sure and I already have plans to return. sun fun Is the list of the most beautiful and untouched places I've ever met, the view of nature, the sound of birds, the river current and the simplicity of the wetland provide immeasurable peace. I would spend hours sitting by the river just admiring how everything can exist. Was in the Red River where I saw the most beautiful in the sun all my early twenties.
It is true that the stuffy atmosphere - very hot indeed! - Makes walking 100 yards seem like a marathon, the sun is burning skin and mosquitoes do not respect the more repellent. sun fun That's because I was in the summer, sun fun in December, in July temperatures are very low. Before you go, I recommend the intake of B complex tablets for a week, to ward off horseflies. Do not know if it was the pills, but survived and stings sun fun in the first two days, and the third had not rained repellent to save me. Solar hat and shield are also welcome, and a very important item - I did not take, but felt rather lacking - are the binoculars for animals.
The Pantanal - which is the largest continuous flood plain of the world, formed by the floods of Paraguay, Miranda, Red and its tributaries - can be found in Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Bolivia and Paraguay. In Mato Grosso do Sul, we had options to go Aquidauna, sun fun at the very beginning of the Pantanal, Miranda, more centrist, and Corumbá, Pantanal heart. We closed a package with Beautiful Hi Hostel to spend three days at the hotel in Passo do Lontra Miranda, with transportation to there suite for couples, full board and sightseeing sun fun by R $ 600 each.
We left around 9am Bonito, followed sun fun by a paved road and just before we arrived at 13h Araras, several buses stop. There a little truck to the hotel somewhat stylish - the bank had in the back of leopard print - was waiting for us. "Wanna go behind or in front?" Said the driver. For those who know me a bit obviously chose to go rattling on the back, open, overlooking trees and animals, and the right to eat a bit of dust from the dirt road. Felt like a safari. Halfway there, the driver stopped for a few minutes in a place where she - the most popular sun fun of all traveling to the Pantanal - Oz used to appear. However, she did not showed up.
We passed a bridge newly built concrete, walked into an alley clay surrounded by wooden houses and got to the hotel parking lot. On the outskirts there is no trade, light and nothing beyond nature and some wetland. sun fun The hotel is simple, has a lawn at the entrance, a deck overlooking the river Miranda with tables and chairs, the restaurant and the rooms - with bathroom and air conditioning. We left our bags in the room and headed for lunch which was already sun fun served: simple food and homemade taste.
The hotel was empty besides us there were only two Australian couples. The Pantanal left me the impression of how Brazilians are ignorant of the beauties of Brazil. Only met foreigners who were going there, they had just returned or stayed in the same hotel as us. I stopped to think about my friends and once again, it was clear that most prefer to travel to the U.S. or Europe, you know the beauty - which are many! - Of our country. The Australians were super receptive, even more when they discovered that we were Brazilians. The funniest thing was communication: one of you spoke very strange to my ears english. I do not understand the law, it also seemed a little confused with my answers and still chatted.
The first ride - focusing animals boat - was scheduled for 16h and there was our guide, known as Indian. Born in the region, the Indian knows everything about the Pantanal, since the names of more than 400 birds, up on the habits of otters, howler and noise of the preferred places of ounces. We followed all the Miranda river for hours spotting alligators, otters, toucans, storks - they are the symbol of the region - and other species of trees. The Indian gave information about each pet in Portuguese and English. The Australians sun fun had very good eyes for spotting birds and with the help of binoculars would not let one go unnoticed.
Being in a boat on a river lined with trees and many alligators - when I say a lot is because sun fun until we get tired of seeing sun fun them - it was very good reliever. I was looking for was even one ounce of the leaves and I think I did so many questions about the cat of Indians he soon realized what was our great desire to visit the Pantanal. The tour lasted about four hours - not seen - ounce, vol
