Beyond the visible world there are other dimensions which govern the mysterious, unearthly beings or souls. In these figures constantly appear the same symbols and leitmotifs, such as a ship, a harp, a winged horse, and in later works and painting palette. The figures show the elves ("Elfi") and elves ("Gnomes") from the world of Icelandic folklore, beings with halos, winged angels or the human figure as the incarnation of natural phenomena and emotions. In the "fantasies" are these creatures and symbols linked, creating a mysterious and mystical world, which reflects the outstanding personality of their creator.
